Winning Without All Your Pieces

Winning Without All Your Pieces

I would dare to say that the Golden State Warriors have been the most fascinating teams in the NBA this season.  Last year, they won the Title and this year they achieved something incredible when they broke the Chicago Bulls regular season record by going 73-9.  What's even more intriguing is how they went about accomplishing this historic feat.  There were times during the season when they didn't play with certain players due to those players being injured.  Even now, their franchise player and last year's MVP, Steph Curry, is sidelined with an injury.  Despite his absence on the court, however, the Warriors continue to win.

Friend, although things aren't perfect, you can still get the victory.  Something may be missing, but you can still achieve your goal.  Sometimes we get discouraged when we're lacking certain items.  We feel like we can't obtain what we desire when we're deficient in particular areas.  We act as if our endeavors won't be successful due to a shortage, but you can still win if you don't have all the pieces.

I love the parallel you illustrated between sports and faith. Sometimes the most simple connections make the most profound impact. Thank you for being you, authentic and uplifting!
